SEACHANGE 2021

For Oceana, 2021 is a truly special year; it marks Oceana’s Twenty Years of winning victories for the ocean. Since our founding in 2001, we have become the largest international organization advocating for policies that protect and restore the ocean. For twenty years, our science-based, goal-oriented approach has resulted in more than 225 victories that prevent pollution, protect marine life, safeguard underwater habitats, and strengthen fisheries.

To commemorate this milestone, we will gather on Friday, October 22 at the stunning Cahill Estate in Laguna Beach, CA.

Oceana takes on challenges on a global scale—and wins. Because the oceans cover 71% of our planet, ocean health is critical to solving some of the world’s most pressing issues—from climate change to food insecurity. Support for Oceana helps restore and protect thriving ecosystems that mitigate the effects of global warming—and secure sustainable fisheries around the world to feed a billion people a healthy meal every day.

Join us on October 22—to celebrate Oceana wins on a global scale.
