Come join us as we work the halls of Congress to protect the oceans!
Join Oceana as we advocate for ocean protections on Capitol Hill. The day begins with breakfast at Oceana’s Washington, D.C. office, where you’ll meet members of our campaign team and receive a briefing on the latest developments across our priority issues. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet with Oceana leadership, including Jim and other members of the team.
From there, we’ll travel to Capitol Hill to meet with congressional staff and advocate for Oceana-supported legislation. Depending on what is happening in Congress that day, activities could include discussing upcoming hearings, building support for key bills, delivering petition signatures, or engaging in conversations around legislative amendments.
The day may also include lunch at one of Capitol Hill’s classic restaurants where you may run into familiar faces.
